Hi, I’m Abbie, the grower and maker behind The Good Garden.

The Good Garden began with a love for peonies and the simple joy of growing something beautiful to share with others. Our peony field is the heart of what I do, and each year I’m growing it into something that I hope will be enjoyed for many seasons to come.

I’ve also always had a soft spot for heirloom things - old quilts, well-loved fabrics, and pieces that have already lived a story. That love eventually found its way into The Good Garden too. In between seasons in the flower field, I sew vintage quilts into one-of-a-kind Garden Coats, preserving the beauty and character of something old while giving it new life.

Whether I’m tending peonies or sitting at my sewing machine, I’m drawn to the same things: beauty in creation, work done by hand, and things worth holding onto.
